Top Spot

Billy Wilson and his crew from Top Spot
were hired to do our cabinets and counter tops!
Great attention to detail. Would recommend them
to everyone needing his expertise!

More help...

This is Andre, a dutch student, working
our dairy in America. He has been a great
help. He is a very nice guy!

Andre and Opa were cutting up rubber
mats to place in the parlor for tension relief
for the milkers. It is a shame that I didn't get very many
pictures of Opa. He came back to help
us with the move of the cows. Arjen
was really proud to have his Dad here
to witness this time in his life. He
was a BIG HELP!

T J with Dairy Solutions

T J and his crew did a great job in the
dairy barn remodel. He (and his crew)
have spent many hours in this barn.
T J has been there every step of the way...
making sure everything operates the way it
needs to. Oh by the way did you know...
T J is very, very tall!

These were the last cows!

These were the last 11 cows, which were dry cows, to
leave the place in Hico.

A proud dairyman!

Arjen is so excited to have his own dairy. We have only
operated by leasing the facilities in the past. It has been a
long road with many twists and turns, but thankfully we
have bought a dairy. Those people that know Arjen know
how much this means to him. I took this picture as he was
helping push the cows in the dairy barn to be milked. We
have many more things to do at the new place, but we will
get it done.
I am very proud of my boertje!

Milking in the new parlor

The first milking began at 6:00am. The cows were as expected
being stubborn to enter the milking stalls. They had to be
encouraged a little bit.

Last load of milk from Wilhelmus Dairy in Hico

The milk truck picked up the last load of milk that was
pumped into the tank. After each pen was milked they were
then loaded in the trailers and were hauled to the Wilhelmus
Dairy which is located in Dublin now.

The Cows are leaving!

This was the very first load of cows to leave Hico headed
to Dublin! We had a group of 7 cattle haulers who hauled
91 loads. This did not include Ubaldo, our employee, who
hauled loads as well. They averaged 14 cows per load.
The first load started about 8:30pm Monday night and the
last load was about Noon on Tuesday. We couldn't have asked
for a better group of cattle haulers. Everything went really,
really smooth. This was a big task to undertake but
A JOB WELL DONE!
